BREXIT PARTY’S FARAGE GIVING CRUNCH SPEECH IN WESTMINSTER THIS FRIDAY – NEW QUOTE AND ACCREDITATION HERE

Brexit Party Leader Nigel Farage will deliver a highly anticipated speech at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster this Friday, during a critical week for Brexit.

The rally follows The Brexit Party’s sold-out We Are Ready tour and comes the day after the EU summit and the day before the expected votes in the Commons on Saturday, the first such sitting since the Falklands war.

Richard Tice, the Chairman of The Brexit Party, will also deliver a speech as well as prominent Brexiteer and Wetherspoons boss Tim Martin and our MEP Ann Widdecombe.

Mr Farage said: ‘This promises to be one of the biggest weeks for Brexit since the referendum.

‘At this stage, I don’t think there is a cat in hell’s chance of the EU agreeing this week that the UK can break completely free of single market rules or the Customs Union.

‘Merkel has said she fears competition from a free-trading, independent UK and Boris has failed to unambiguously commit his party to the Clean-Break we voted for.

‘I think there will be some tinkering around with the “Irish backstop” – perhaps producing a solution so complex nobody will ever understand it – and my guess is the Commons will vote on another version of May’s surrender treaty this weekend.

‘The Brexit Party’s response will be critical. Any deal that does not give us full control of our trade, borders, laws and territorial fishing waters, it is not Brexit. And any second referendum, especially one without a Clean-Break Brexit on the ballot paper, will be a stitch-up.

‘Boris says he wants to “get Brexit done,” but committing us to another EU treaty similar to May’s Withdrawal Agreement will cause the UK years of wrangling and tension with Brussels, unable to focus on our bright post-Brexit future.

‘At our We Are Ready event on Friday, The Brexit Party will be setting out our vision for that bright future for our supporters and the press, and we welcome you all there.’

The events will open to the general public from 18:00 before commencing at 19:00. Mr Farage is expected on stage at approximately 19:45 and reporters are encouraged to arrive at 17:00 on the day to allow time for interviews beforehand.

A large number of Prospective Parliamentary Candidates will be in attendance and available to speak to the press, who can get accredited by replying to this email.

You will be able to watch via a livestreme on our social media pages and tickets for supporters are available now from just £5 on our Eventbrite page. It will be held in the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Broad Sanctuary, London, SW1P 3EE.

Press and supporters are advised to travel to this event using public transport. The QE II Centre is close to Westminster and St James’s Park tube stations, Waterloo train/underground station, and many bus stops.
